Saw on TV some riders on the Giro putting on lotion.

To be serious, you can't half get burned in the sun. The breeze drafting past as you cruise along the lanes gives a nice cooling effect that masks the sun on exposed limbs. I might think about rule 7, but ignore rule 5 and put the lotion on!
