He was also off his head, shouted at me as I cycled past " would you loik to be bottled"? I just carried on cycling past then I heard an explosion as a full bottle of beer hit the road behind me!!!
I was never worried or scared, just bemused! I new he could'nt get me as he was on foot.
Does make me wonder though, I was just on my way home from work nice sunny day and I run in to an "A Hole" like him could have ruined my day !!!!
Not really expecting much reaction to this as it is just another little incident, just thought I would share it with you!

On a serious note, glad you're ok.

To be honest probably nothing to do with you being a cyclist. Nutter out of his head. Could've happened to you on foot.

I'd agree with that. On the plus side he prolly wouldnt remember your face if you'd bashed his head in retaliation. ;)

100%. My missus had a simlar incident a few weeks ago (on foot). Just happened to look up and catch eyes with another female...'wanna picture ?' the woman said ;)

My missus, who wont be spoken to this way by anyone...well, lets say she let fly with some choice words. Nothing came back.

The woman didnt appear to be off her head...just one of lifes no brainer, no hoper, fcukwits with an attitude. Gawld help us.

What a shocker!

I mean, why didn't he drink the beer first!?* What a waste.

;)

Actually, I must admit the reason I was looking at him is that he had two bottles of beer in his hand and I must have been looking rather enviously at them:tongue: He only threw one though!

Looking at someones elses beer enviously is clearly offensive to some people!!!!

Ye am very glad it never happened when I was on foot, my scrapping days are over!!;)

Good job you were not on foot, in experience biting back can go one of two ways.... an easy clip round the ear and they stagger away in shame or messy scrap with a pissed up druggy that feels no pain!

Much better to be on a bike and like the penguins from madagascar say "Just smile and wave boys, smile and wave" then just ride on...

Some people are crazy !

I recall once hearing a noise behind me: it was a chimney pot smashing on the floor behind me...threw by some lads.

I just blessed my lucky stars !!!

You should have said "What a gent, you bought me a drink! Maybe I can repay your generosity some time?"
