Pubs or retail. Quite often town halls employ staff casually to oversee meetings weddings etc.

At the moment I am applying for full time jobs with the view to letting the company know that I cannot work Monday and Tuesday due to college. If they really want me then hopefully they will be accepting.

That will really cheese prospective employers off. You are lying from the outset and giving the impression that you are unreliable. You would have to be an exceptional candidate to be more useful than a full time employee.

I would like to be proved wrong......

There has been a 24hr job (not those hours) on a jobsite recently. However, getting there would be a problem. It is located on the A55 (where it is legal to cycle) but about 5 miles away from the slip road. So I wouldnt like to cycle along there in the middle of the night.

Don't blame you. I don't like driving on the A55, never mind entertaining the idea of cycling along it.

Try the jobcentre online, they'll have a good list of jobs in your area.
Also check out the bigger chains - M&S, Debenhams, dare I say Halfords?? - online as they'll have a "careers" link to current vacancies on their websites.
Volunteering for a local charity is also a good way to build your CV

When I was at college I discovered that if ones college course occupies less than 22 hours a week of your time with lessons / lectures then you can sign onto the dole. I quit washing up in the Chinese restaurant that was paying me £14 a week and started collecting my dole cheque which paid me £37.50 a week for not working.

I was ineligible for a grant or student loan and I figured that I'd pay it back about a thousand times over throughout a lifetime of National Insurance contributions.

Good times.

I failed my first year by just two modules so when I re-took those two first year modules I also did most of the second year, so when I came to my actual second year I only had two or three hours a week lesson time!

I signed on before Christmas after completing my course. I was told that because I hadn't worked for 3 years and not paid NI or Income tax I was not entitled to benefits at all. I did work before becoming a student but that doesn't count anymore. So benefits are not going to be an option to most people anymore.
