Can you speak 'Traveller' as there are plenty of vacancies up our way for live in slaves workers now that the last lot have been freed moved on ?

You even get a bit of exciting R&R during the lunch breaks which would go well with your 'no nonsense' attitude to others.

Its not like there arent any suitable jobs being advertised because there are. I applied for about 10 jobs last week and 5 the week before. However, I just never hear anything back. Or if I do it is along the lines of "You were not chosen on this occasion".
I dont mind not getting the job but maybe the company could send out an email to all unsuccessful candidates? It isnt hard is it?

If you go for a low level job, then you can at least say you have experience in taking orders, and carrying out tasks as requested. You can say 'I'm currently working at 'X' and that shows you are keen to work and earn. Look at them as stepping stones..consider doing some work in a charity shop also as part of your work experience. Its shows you have a bit of get up and go about you.

There is a new Domino's pizza coming to Rhyl at some point in the near future (they have been granted permission). By the time they open I will have my driving license so I could possibly get a job as a delivery boy (on their provided scooters).

Now THAT I would pay to see.

Only 11-13 hours a week - blimey! I did about 4 full days and one half day a week of lectures, labs and tutorials and often stayed behind to use the library and computers in the evenings (pre- t'interweb).

And look where it's got you.

Just sayin ^_^

Just keep sending in the applications. Don't forget it's out of season at the minute, so you may not find anything till April. There will be lots of folk your age at college/uni looking for part time work, so keep at it.

Most employers don't respond these days if you aren't successful !

Chase the Charity option, you will have no shortage of offers, and they can give a reference if you put your back into it.
