Until they sting you. Then you find out who your friends really are.
Bees are like cyclists. If every one you encounter is angry and sweary/sting-y (delete as appropriate) then I don't think it's them that are the problem.

I am sure that is the same one the stung Mrs D last year. Features are identical and that slimey, smarmey, smart arsed smile confirms it. He is obviously a repeat offender.

Slightly less funny. I've had a bit of a reaction but not at the sting site. Very large swelling just below the throat on the upper chest. Sting site was on the right side of my neck. So the poison was heading for my ticker.
