Still rolling along fine.
I even went out on my road bike today for a 15 mile spin without any protection at all - as in no spare tube or repair kit.![]()
She picks the right moment, pal.

I'm beginning to get the picture. When you do have a puncture with the M+ tyres, they areimpossible to repair...easy to get off, as they are so well 'broken in' and you might not even remember when you bought the last ones. you look forward to seeing the new side walls as they take their place on willing rims![]()
...When you do have a p####### with the M+ tyres...
On the advice of fellow parishioners, I ordered a couple of Marathon Plus tyres this afternoon from an on-line retailer...

Having done so, I set out for a ride down the Thames Path in the darkness. Eight miles out, I met the Fairy for the fourth time in seven days. I swear the little minx is stalking me. Rummaging around in the pannier, I realised I had all the needful, except my pump. Lady slowmotion was very understanding when I phoned, and came to the rescue.
I must have done something terrible in a previous existence.
Don't worry. It's a last hurrah for the faerie. You will soon forget all about p*nct*re delays.
Well it looks like the Ultremos have lasted 200 miles and that's about it..... They are great looking tyres and the grip is fantastic however they cut up really badly. No puncture but there is one hole in each tyre where I can see through to the underlying layer. Has anyone else had this? I'm not confident riding any kind of distance on them but if other people have experienced the cutting up and then got many more miles out of the tyre, let me know and I may keep them.
Considering going for gatorskins now instead....
