@ghost whistler alot of bikes on Ebay say collection only but if you message the seller some are flexible and will post it to you.
I got my Norco A2 threshold this way and sold my Genesis this way too

You can always get a bike on a train. If push comes to shove, take a couple of big bags and take the wheels out and carry the whole shebang on with you. If you really want something there is always a way.

If I can get 12 horses home to Norfolk from Argentina I am sure you can get a bike to your home from the same county.

Failing that you may just have to bite the bullet and buy online. As clearly you have no other option.

But that'll take some effort on the part of the OP
I'm sure they have taxis thereabouts for starters. Can easily get a bike in an estate or hatchback with the seats down

Or just ride it home!
