The bike shops here are not cheap enough.
That's my price range, I don't have anymore. If that's not enough then it's not enough.

You can't go there and back by train? I take bikes on the train all the time. In fact I am quite possibly taking my bike (plus Hubster and his bike) on the train today. All you then need to do is ride to the station and then from the station home. That ebay link is in Bristol, as I said I can't get the bike back.
Picked what up?@ghost whistler i picked this up at local carboot and with aprox £25 - 50 spent it would be an ideal bike shame you live so far away

They just don't have carboots where I live anymore. Used to be popular, but not anymore. Gumtree is the only other place I can think of and there's nothing on there.
so what was the point of telling me in the first plce then?what i picked up was a 1990's Scott Mtb that would have served you well , but alas it has now been sold
trying to show what is about 2nd hand , good luck with your searchso what was the point of telling me in the first plce then?
No they don't. Everything i've just seen on ebay is collection only.
i'm sure there are lots of things second hand, it just depends hwere you live.trying to show what is about 2nd hand , good luck with your search
i know where the shops are, but thanks to our abysmal bus service getting to some of those shops is impossible. Others are too distant.@ghost whistler Clevedon, Western Supermare, Winterstoke, Newport all have the bike instock now that @vickster suggested
