There is bullying. my girlfriend got nominated by her brother. They haven't been getting along too well recently and this was this first time he'd been interested in contacting her in about a month.
Following the nomination he then commented on something she'd put on Facebook saying shouldn't she be doing the challenge, tweeted us both about it and whatsapp'd her putting pressure on.

You must be easily intimidated if you consider that to be bullying.

The point that you are still missing is that it is not £2, but multiples of £3

TO donete the £700 rrequired to support every one ofthese I am approached by or asked for would mena i could not aford my present donations

That's a problem of your own invention.

No one has suggested that you donate to everyone or indeed anyone who approaches you. It was suggested that three pounds is not a lot to fret about as a single donation if you took up the ice bucket challenge. That is an entirely different scenario to the one to the one you have created.

[QUOTE 3253480, member: 45"]You were talking about the ice bucket challenge. I said it was only £3. You asked me which of your current charities would lose out if you donated the £3. I questioned the astonishing statement. All of a sudden you decide that it's not £3 but hundreds.

Which really rather proves the earlier point?

Our kids had fun doing this during the week (with another friend) and they've nominated a couple of other friends and me (doing it today). So that's £30 going off to Lifeblood and the PH association.
Shouldn't really be posting to this thread as I stopped reading it after a page or two, but we've had a bit of fun at the end of summer and the charities will benefit a small amount. Nothing more, nothing less.
