I've saved some parsnips and a red cabbage dated best before October 2018. They started to putrefy around Christmas time,so i put them outside in my little lock up area. Why keep such rotting vile shoot you may ask. Well they're for my palm tree to scoff on. Not only are they way out of date,but they've wrapped in plastic film so when i eventually cut them open someone might ,due to the stench!

Well i took two out of date Nurofen last night (dated Sept 2018.) Glad to say i'm still here minus a headache.
I would have thought over the counter painkillers wouldn't just "go off".

Are they not meant to be less effective as they gey older ? Sure someone told me that once .

No idea,though i can't see them losing effectiveness if they are still sealed in the blister pack.I don't get many headaches,hence why they were out of date,still 10 left in the pack too,and they aren't getting binned any time soon.
