My employer's about to shut 26 bike spaces without replacing them. Charmin.
On the face of it your employer would appear to be, what we call, a nobber. However if only 2.6 of the spaces are in regular use they may have a case....
We are about to move offices and will be providing more cycling spaces than we have at present. Partly because we (ok.... me) are declaring a no more non-folding bikes inside the office rule.
Unfortunately some of the cyclisti, especially those that I have led to the sunlight uplands of cycling enlightenment, have gone all diva-esque (on me) and are almost to the point of asserting the space their bikes go into needs to be centrally heated, rearing up on their hind legs and declaiming "Outside? I can't leave my carbon framed loveliness outside! Don't be ridiculous."
"It's a mode of transport not a fetish object" as a reply doesn't seem to be cutting it. I may have to ask the ringleaders to step into my office.
