Still dreaming of Speyside.
We spent a long weekend in Ballater. Easy to see why the royals live nearby. Seems to have a microclimate sheltered by the Cairngorms.
Still dreaming of Speyside.
People told me that a couple of times: that "Leaving is hiding" and that the problem was me, not the situation, so the problem would "follow" me.
Turns out they were wrong. On occasion the people telling me this, were the problem: as soon as I was away from them, things improved. On another occasion the very place itself was the issue: it turns out I don't get on well with cities. Fortunately I have skills in demand in rural Germany so I could do something about that. It also turned out that in some cases, the people claiming I was the problem were trying to hide their own bullying or manipulative behaviour by pushing the blame for the symptoms onto me.
I'm not saying that I had (or have) no issues to deal with, but it's remarkable how much easier it is to deal with underlying problems once other, more obvious stress factors are removed.
No matter where you are, your problems will follow.
You can run, but you cannot hide, so moving will not really change anything.

I mean the issues in your head.
Buckingham Palace, would be nice once its sorted of course and as long as his brother doesn't nip round looking for hand outs.![]()

But which bedroom to use?
Different one every night.
