Do baseball matches routinely take place in front of 100% home crowds? Away supporters are an integral part of the Brit footie scene, but the distances in the US are so vast - presumably people don't fly around the country to support their team, so the crowd would typically be 100% 'home'. Or do they?

@anothersam
Maybe a curious one?

Why do American 'conventional' trucks have such small cabs/ compared to the width of the track?
Ie; the archetypal Peterbil 359/Kenworth W900

Surely they can be made wider, even if it means altering the iconic styling (exposed fuel-tanks, etc...)
From what I've seen, there must be more room - discounting the sleeper - in the average pick-up

What is the American dream?

Jolene from The Queen’s Gambit (on Netflix) will take this one:

And just how many achieve it?

The Great Gatsby also has a few things to tell us about this subject. Unfortunately I didn’t have a copy of it in the house for a photo op, so this will have to do.

Garden comes from Old English Geard which means enclosure. A garden is an enclosure. Guard as in to guard has a similar derivation.

That explains the Garden of Eden new builds the next village over.

Best anti-theft device in a car in the USA is a manual gearbox.

I can’t disagree.

I would (wildly) guess that a typical crowd for a far away game would more than 90% but less than 100% ’home’. There are sports fans who literally follow their teams anywhere.

how are you supposed to stop the dribbles from around the toilet going on the floor?

If you don’t mind, I’m going to treat this as a rhetorical question.

For those who don’t know who Danielle is (as I didn’t until about 10 minutes ago), here she is showing off what I assume to be a vintage garment:

Anyway, she was alive and tweeting only a few days ago.

Being strictly utilitarian vehicles, the space for the human driving the thing is only as big as it needs to be, no? Therefore I would expect even smaller cabs in the future. And a very boring remake of Convoy.

Well, it is the field of dreams.
