Unfortunately, the window cleaning season doesn't end for months yet though!Hope you feel better soon.
Look on the positive side. Now we're in September the cycling season in Accrington is practically over until next June anyway
"Mr Happy" the consultant has rollocked me for moving about, saying I should keep still for 2 months! Seeing as they haven't offered me any anti clotting jabs I think it's best if I keep mobile. I wish they'd give me some anti depressants. I'm starting to have dodgy thoughts and dreams!Yikes - heal soon!
Don't sue anybody but do talk to the rider involved if you think he needs to change the way he rides and make an official complaint to the hospital if you are unhappy with your treatment.
Are they giving you heparin shots to reduce your chances of picking up a blood clot when immobilised? If you can get up and move about, make sure that you do every now and then.
I had problems sleeping due to the noise when I was in hospital. As for pee ... it wasn't the smell that bothered me, it was stepping off the bed and standing in a pool of it! I did that twice. The man in the next bed actually spent most of his time trying to sleep in his bedside chair. He'd doze off while peeing into a bottle, drop it, and thereby create a pee lake between our beds!
