The Archers! I loathe it too. Though I have spent an afternoon in a recording studio with 2 of them.

I realise the OP was from about a gazillion years ago, but hey, my loathing of the Archers (and my ability to read the tune/music) continues.

My wife once sat next to someone who was/is in The Archers on a train journey home, if I remember correctly he played the vicar or something like that in it. He was a right lovey she said, although he did offer to buy her a G&T so wasn't all that bad.

Trying to think of things on my 'oh good god no' list.

I'll wear clothes from anywhere as long as the fit. So not fussed about clothing labels.

I don't buy any non-brand bikes parts or accessories. If I've never heard of the company or it's an in-store brand, it doesn't go on me or the bike.

As long as the meat and veg are fresh I'll buy food anywhere.

Coffee, Italian, preferably Illy.

Hotels, 4 stars minimum. Excellent reviews required.

Restaurants, if they don't mention the name of their head chief, then I'm not going to be keen to visit.

Thankfully the habit of drinking beer or lager straight from the bottle instead of using a glass (preferably a half pint one) has diminished in recent years. It's so common to see women drinking from anything but a ladies glass!
