with a replica asault in a rifle bag (its very obvious what it is) - anyone want to place bets on how long it would take the police to shoot me? Incase you didnt know, family's from Iraq, and i look like an arab (although no turban)

Natural selection at work.

Theres nothing natural about getting gunned down by Police because "E's one of em damn efnics, 'nd hes a boma, aaaye"

Because it normally sits on my wall, but somethings broke off it, so I need to head to a specialist shop to get a replacement part...

He's not dead yet!

Our police are RUBBISH! How long can an Iraqi walk around London with a gun in a bag before the Police take notice???

Pzycoman - I should get in contact with the Daily Mail and set it up as a story. If you don't get shot, you get to keep the fee. If you do, it goes to your family. A win all round.

My friend André in France has gun racks in his dining room. I find it odd to see the stuff on his wall and is a juxtaposition to all the baby clothes, toys etc... He has another rack upstairs with all the big boy's toys like pump action shotguns. The rifles downstairs are heirlooms, older pieces...still in working order.
Amazing that you find a replica assault rifle so attractive pzycoman...an I don't recommend a furtive jog around Regent's Park with that bag either. You might receive a little 'ventilation' from the marksmen on every corner!
Good luck with the repair by the way...what dropped off?

Its a American M4 - lovely piece of kit IMO - I love it  The charging handle was broke for ages, and I took it down the other day to clean the dust off it, the handle came out and I cant fit it back in.

The shops near Camden

So why do you need to take it with you...
or why don't you take it in a guitar case

and hang on - how has something managed to break off it if it's a fake gun and it was on the wall?

Was broke when I got it sent over from the Land of the free, broke in transit, couldnt be bothered to send it back and get a new one, because its quite heavy at 6.something kg, and I need to get a permit to send it out of the country.

And I need to take it with me so I can get them to fit the part for me - need to dismantle the rifle to put the part in there, as its not supposed to come out at all...

well conceal it in a guitar case or something then. Seriously, don't walk round london with a fake gun.
