Exactly!
Nice for riding as well as you can adjust the warmth by zipping or unzipping
I remember having a thick knitted brown cardi when I was a teenager
looked VERY uncool in those days but i loved it
Used to only wear it in my room and cuddle it when reading - again in my room
never had a cardi since!!

I only have a zipped cardie - I've grown rather fond of it, despite being cheap/synthetic. Beats those dreadful "hoodies" - how anyone over 30 can wear one, well ...

I'm currently wearing a 'sweatshirt grey' Bench zip-up cardie, that my wife gave me
'Hoodies', I did wear one as pre/post race wear, when l was still running, that was in late 40s/early 50s
