I wish to admit to something that I trust the collective will treat in confidence

when I was a teenager (yes teenage boy and all that)

I persuaded my parents to buy me a cardigan I saw in a shop where we had to get my School Uniform from

I never wore it and it was quite expensive - I think they were quite annoyed with me

But what they never knew was that I loved it
I used to get it out of the cupboard when I was alone (doing homework or playing music or playing darts - like all teenage boys do

and just cuddle it
it was lovely

and these days I often wear pink

soooooo

(to b clear - I wear pink because
a) every woman I have "had a relationship with" has said I suit pink
and
b) it is funny how it confuses some people when they know I am married and I am wearing a pink shirt!!)

The above photo I've posted of the cardigan reminds me of those knitting patterns mine and other mums would buy. It does look home made, which is a good look I'd say. 😉

While there is nothing wrong with either, in the Venn diagram of good taste, the crossover between those who look good in cardigans and those who look good in pink is a tiny sliver.

Nothing better than a trendy cardigan

Im a regular waistcoat and sports coat wearer too.

I've only recently taken to wearing waistcoats. A couple of my tweed suits came with a waistcoat which I barely wore, eg once at my wedding and maybe once or twice otherwise. Now realised they are a nice way of adding a bit of warmth, as well as looking smart, and even looking a bit cool if you then take the jacket off indoors. Mrs PP approves I'm pleased to say. Got a couple of smart non-suit ones to try too.

Waistcoats are the greatest thing for middle age spread. When you are thin with a 26” waist🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. They make you look rather portly and 10 years on when you are 36” waist you look the same.👍😎
