Mmm, that's put me off buying that pink cardigan! If I bought it, when wearing it I'd be thinking someone will think I'm a fan of the above show!š š
Waistcoats are the greatest thing for middle age spread. When you are thin with a 26ā waistš¤£š¤£š¤£š¤£š¤£š¤£. They make you look rather portly and 10 years on when you are 36ā waist you look the same.šš

As a young whippersnapper, I had a 28" waist, but 26", blimey - you'd look like a wasp![]()
I'm still wearing the same pair or Y fronts I had at school.
I have the same trouser size as I did when I was at University in the late 70s
the bit slightly above that point may be a bit larger than it used to be!!!
Thinking about it - I always used to have a suit with a waistcoat - it looked good at the time
but i have not worn one for many years
As I only wear a suit these days for weddings and funerals - probably not worth buying another - the current one will last a LOOOOONG time and hopefully only get used very occaisionally!

My 8 quid cardigan (at that price I really pushed the boat out and bought 2).
Its quite thick and nice and warm.
Its my slobbing around the house cardi.
Does look like a nice cardi - and nice and warm as well
by "slobbing around the house" stuff generally just involves a t-shirt and jeans
SWMBO like the thermostat somewhat higher than I would have it
but then, for many years I had to deal with a weird Alsatian who considered the right and proper way to operate a house involves a patio door that is wide open all day!
My Father always used to say that cardigans were schmoey, thatās probably why Iāve never worn one, I canāt even wear a hoody with a full zip as it has cardigan overtones.
