Changed hemispheres!
a muddy off-road touring bike could be a different kettle of fish!
it will be a learning experience, despite being an experienced tourer (always with OH) and seasoned camper & mountaineer and long distance walker. Seems odd how much extra kit I need for solo touring!

credit cards? what are they.... don't have one....

Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.

Don't worry. You'll be fine. The natives are quite nice really and rarely bite, unless there is a full moon. cash is accept everywhere, for everything. Good luck.

.................. 1 set of track suit bottoms, 1 set of lycra longs, 1 normal bra, 1 merino wool top, 2 set of knickers, 1 set of socks, waterproof top & bottoms & 'a fleece' (in addition to what is being worn - socks, sports bra, lycra shorts, lycra top, biking shoes). that's it for the 9 or 10 days I'm gone.

no little black strappy dress ala Coco Chanel...?

Lol......finally another female who sounds like me. I don't have a single skirt or dress in my wardrobe

Hope you have a great trip. Look forward to the report/pics when you return.

has your kitty come home yet @Mo1959 ?
Sadly not. I haven't slept all night. I did a walk around at 11pm and another at 2am but no sign. I just lay on top of the bed nearly fully clothed in case I heard her and had to jump up. Leaving for Ninewells at 8.30 to get wound checked and dressing changed and won't be back till late morning but I will leave my bedroom window wide open so she can jump in just in case but I am starting to fear the worst and will maybe check some other roads later in case she has been knocked down.
