So after chucking abuse at me Ed is now considering a pannier, remind me never to answer any of his posts again as i have better things to do than get a gobful .

He is a kid. They are very good about arguing about nothing for ages and ages. If they had listened to what you said, they would have saved all the bother. My 13 year old does this.

Still think he is skanky. 1 shirt all week, blurgh. My lad changes his every day. No excuse !

it works by tightening the pores not blocking them as an antiperspirant would and it also has antiseptic properties which kill the bacteria that causes the smell, as sweat alone does not smell it's the bacteria that lives off the sweat that smells.

He would be better off keeping clean and having a change of clothes. Smelly rats !

Why not take a fresh shirt every day, fresh trousers every other day, clean sock and grundies everyday as well. It's easy to take a clean ironed shirt rolled up in my ruck-sack, (Hi Gear Glendale 25ltr) along with two meals in sealed containers, tracker bar, crisps etc, laptop, + chargers, glasses, phones, camera, and typical office stuff, (21 mile a day commute) Either shower every morning at work or baby-wipe bath if others are using the shower when I get in.

He's a teenager. He will do the exact opposite of any good advice you offer. He's asked the experts who commute 30 miles or more a day and decided he knows best ! So there ! I can smell him from here !

Terribly sorry for anything I said as I was just generally peed off at the time about other things and this influenced my posting when it really shouldn't have. struggling to locate any post from me in this thread that in particular throws abuse at you, do you think you could point me to this/these post/posts?

I wouldn't put anything to me being a child and/or teenager, but you may if you wish.

Never in my life have I had any comment or anything else about my hygiene and trust you me the people in my school would tell you straight to your face if there was a problem.
Cheers Ed

my suggestion was to use the block after he washes not instead of washing.

i understood this and IMO there is no replacement for a good shower every day and no lynx is not 'a shower in a can' as my younger brother said!

Ed, I don't know about your school but chicks rub unless your wearing aftershave.. Or at least that's my experience. Seriously, commuting you never go as well as you do on a after school beat up! Trust me, it's why I hardly ever xommute!

Also ed, leave stuff in your locker at school? I don't have this luxury, you could leave all your books in it etc. And also that's a lot of stationary.. I just have a pen and pencil.. And borrow the rest..
