I am 8 miles from the exchange, so I'm lucky to get 0.5mb. Which isn't significantly better than dial up. We can't (be bothered to) use iplayer, YouTube, itunes take several minutes to download, can't have 2 people online gaming... etc

However, we should be getting a 50mb cable connection later this month, which will be nice.

Glad to see the spammer has gone!
Indeed, NT, fantastic piece of spam-spotting there.

And I just tried to test my own connection speed - it is currently so bad that I get "Latency test error" because it is too slow to even read the file.

Ooo, got a result...

As I said earlier this afternoon, .5mb and 94% of the UK get faster than I can get in the middle of the Thames Valley.

0.5MB download in this rural part of the world - but upload speed is 0.37 which seems as good as any:wacko:

Yup, another rock and roll friday night in the Doseone household:whistle: . Kids on sleepovers tomorrow night though, so we're out to play :wahhey:

Its all relative to the time you do them, 4 o'clock in the afternoon, when all the kids are in from school, try it then
