Assuming you are referring to the EdFoC Original, rather then the Ride to the Sun - you'll be fine - it's not a quick ride and there are plenty of pauses and a good feedin the middle ... somewhere or other ...
Will be nice to see you again !![]()

(I need to purchase a proper front light as the one I have at the moment is a tad weedy)

Thank you for the encouraging words, I wish I had your confidence in my ability@Edwardoka I think you can still do it.
Get your head in gear now, you'll be able to do LEL by end July.

- you'll be fine ...
Sometimes your 'organisational' (the term is used in its loosest sense) ability, however ...![]()

)Stop this right now!(My shonky knee is proving to be a significant barrier to training, unfortunately)
I appreciate the sentiment Patricia but I am genuinely injured at the momentStop this right now!
There are no barriers for a young, energetic chap like you: you can do it!

Must be something in the air - I've had a chesty cough/ sore throat over the w-e too, so not been able to recce ride the Top Secret EdFoC Night ride.
Drove round this arvo with Mrs S. We reckon it's a really nice route too - 'mainly flat, a few lumps, no real hills' ...![]()
I'm trying to convince my bother to come through for the night ride, sounds like fun even if we don't know the route.Must admit it is a long time since I was last on here, just been too busy with organising Edinburgh greatest cycling festival, or should that just be Edinburgh greatest festival? ;-)
Hope to see loads of you there! Umm, Here!
