Is my wheel going to fall off?!?

almost there on the build, just worried about the back wheel. i've fitted the chain and put the wheel back in the rear dropout but it now doesnt fit right to the back of the dropout. if i put another link in the chain it fits to the back but the chain is slack. will it be okay half way into the dropout? ill post a picture so you can see and hopefully help. cheers!

Assuming that you are talking about forward facing dropouts ...

So long you can get the nut over as much of the metal as it needs to and you do them up tight enough, you should be OK. If you are still concerned, you may want to look at getting some chain tugs.

Stop worrying and ride it, lol. Its fine, so long as the nut is all on the dropout so as to get a good grip. Even if it was right to the back of the dropout, if it wasnt tightened up enough, it could pull out under load :smile: Just tighten it down nice and tight.
