I'm not complaining. Some of my best bargain bike purchases have come from
eBay listings where the description, photos - or both, were shall we say not exactly of the highest standard.
A listing with a vague or incorrect description may not be flagged up to those searchers who use narrow search parameters; i.e. only the exact make and model they are wanting to buy. Poor photos a bit out of focus, not showing the right detail, or taken in poor lighting conditions don't encourage the bids either. The net result is value hunters like myself have less competition. I only ever bid low, so I can take a chance on a slightly iffy listing. People looking for expensive stuff and willing to bid top dollar can't afford to take risks like you can for the bargain bucket stuff. I've never had a poor result Always been more than happy with the item in the flesh considering the price paid.
