I like the detailed description and that he's only charging £3.45 delivery. I have some spare time on my hands so may ask the seller some questions about the bike.

Be is imaciulate and new
There is also another sale post where he is running a bid for the same bike weirdly....currently on £51.
Just a very odd ad all round.

Incidentally some of the terrible quality pics and descriptions I’ve come across on eBay defy belief, do these people actually want to sell their stuff?

I'm not complaining. Some of my best bargain bike purchases have come from eBay listings where the description, photos - or both, were shall we say not exactly of the highest standard.
A listing with a vague or incorrect description may not be flagged up to those searchers who use narrow search parameters; i.e. only the exact make and model they are wanting to buy. Poor photos a bit out of focus, not showing the right detail, or taken in poor lighting conditions don't encourage the bids either. The net result is value hunters like myself have less competition. I only ever bid low, so I can take a chance on a slightly iffy listing. People looking for expensive stuff and willing to bid top dollar can't afford to take risks like you can for the bargain bucket stuff. I've never had a poor result Always been more than happy with the item in the flesh considering the price paid.

Risky with possible stolen items? Too good to be true possibly?

I'd be very surprised if anything I've bought cheaply secondhand turned out to be bent. I'm only interested in old steel bikes not modern stuff, and at the prices I've paid it really wouldn't be worth someone's time to go out and nick it. The sellers I've had contact with appeared not to be "bike people", generally they were either having a shed/garage clear out or were house clearance types whose main interest was higher value bric-s-brac or antiques and any old bikes that came with job lots were regarded as the unwanted chaff not the wheat - hence the lack of interest in putting up a decent listing with good photos.
