Is this chainring wornout?

Hi All,
Is my chainring worn out?
I have a jumping/skipping chain under load or uphill on some gears.
The chain and cassette has been replaced but this didn't resolve the issue, has helped slightly.
I found that clean chain with little to no lube is much less likely to skip. I mean it's pretty obvious but just wanted to add.

I think it's worn out, because the teeth - especially in the first picture - are shark fin shaped already.
So the effective distance between two adjacent teeth is bigger than the distance between the rollers of a new chain which leads to the skipping you described.

I would concur with @EckyH , the teeth are shark finned shaped. The chainring/s are toast and need replacing.

For comparison from ones I changed a few years ago. Worn on the left which look like the one you've pictured against new on the right and you can see the difference

despite the dirt... the wear is absolutely obvious.

You'd have more time to ride if you don't fret about dirt on the non-functional bits of parts you're gonna replace anyway!

A lesson about CC that I learned long ago: If you post a picture of a bike or bike part without cleaning it to death first then you will get more comments about the fact that it's dirty than you will about the subject of your post.
