There's been a few:-
Mutliple RLJ'S approaching speeds of 30mph giving complete disregard for other traffic, between the ages of 21-22 I was rather reckless.
Disregard of the HC Not following signs in particular no entry, no cycling,
Ghost riding a truck reaching a speed of 47mph on the way to court for jury service ( I was running late)
Ghost riding another truck which rather promptly stopped for a red light and I went into the back of it, scrapped my knee and cut open my trackies.
Undertook a car doing 30 mph and then went into a right hand turn way too fast, could not hold my line and went into the barrier - needless to say the driver did not stop (could not blame them)
Rode on a motorway and given a ticket.
Riding no handed and pretending I'm in a swimming pool doing some freestyle - tends to get rather strange looks from other road users.
Riding no handed whilst drinking
Riding no handed whilst smoking
Riding no handed sending a text
Riding no handed reading a map
Trying to convince/wind up a motorist who yelled at me for going through a red light that the light was actually purple and therefore was not covered by the road traffic act.
Another time when I got beeped jumping a red light by a stationary car, I spotted a cone by the side of the road which I promptly moved smack bang in front of said car and then rode off laughing as driver of said car had to get out and move said cone.
Went into a stationary parked car whilst looking down to check what gear I was in, the frame of the bike I was on snapped in two whilst I ended up on the bonnet. Que new E5 zebra frame from Spesh.
Yeah I was pretty reckless but still consider myself one of the best cyclists out there in terms of defensive cycling/filtering. And some of the other dealings that I've had with other road users have involved far more potential danger to people then listed above.
If all that's true I'm not sure I would write it down to be read on a relatively public forum. We were all young once and probably a bit crazy at times, but keep it under wraps.
