No worries about shopping trips in our family. She shops while I ride and that suits us.

A shopping trip with ScotiaLass sounds interesting though if she always ends up on the Costa.

A few years ago a good friend of mine broke up with his wife of many years so I offered my spare room as a stop gap until he got himself together . One day we went to the supermarket together . I grabbed a trolley and started the shop and quite soon my mate grabbed the front of the trolley and started to help with it .
I laughed and said let go of the trolley mate .
Soon after he did it again and again and again so I said " Dave you need to let go of the trolley mate as you're making us look like a couple of poofs "
He replied shouting " Well I'm sorry but that's what I'm used to doing and its what I've always done "
We both cracked up when I said " now we look like a couple of poofs having an argument "
We never went shopping together again

To be fair, I don't usually do shopping but Chester is 45 miles away from here and my wife doesn't like driving that far. She only drives short distances , normally within 10 miles of home because she hates driving.

Why don't you ride with her to Chester, do some shopping, then ride back? She'll get her shopping hit and you'll get your ride and the roads will be less one car. Problem solved. Happy Days.

Beautiful day here today and quite probably no ride as we want to get some cuprinol on the shed before the bad weather comes. Shed not in bad nick but it's really starting to show it's age. We thought if we give it a bit of paint on protection that we might get another year or so out of it before the expense of replacing it. It had it's roof put back on on Sunday and we'll get some roofing felt on today, with luck, too.

I might try and squeak in a quick hour at some point though.
