You did the right thing. Fronting knob heads like that is a lose / lose situation. If you damaged them and their car, as gratifying as that may appear now, you will end up doing a stretch at her majesty's pleasure, and paying them damages.
If, which is much more likely, you get your head kicked in, your in hospital or possibly much worse.

Talking of West Yorkshire. Do you know of a little village called Cowling,near Keighley? I ask as i worked there in the 1980's in a wine bar/bistro called Scuppers.

Forgive me asking, but are you disabled or something? was that their motivation for calling you a freak? If so, then they are scum to the power of sputum.

One of the few advantages of being a tall, large, well upholstered gentleman is that scum like this are too cowardly to pick on anyone with some visible firepower.

Definitely report the threatening behaviour to the police, particularly as you have a car registration to go with it. The number may be more significant to them than you realise.
