As above. It's the day of the year, when people dust off their bikes, and make an effort. How many people have you seen on a bike, that you wouldn't normally see on a bike today?
I saw none- I generally see none and lived up to that expectation- 17 miles in an hour an no-one (apart from my mate who I cycle with but he doesn't count).
About the same as usual, - 3 or 4 as I came through Salford. Rarely see anyone on a bike for the first 40 mins of my journey. Leaving at 5.20 does have its compensations .
I cycled. Saw other cyclists, don't ride enough really to judge whether they sre always on the roads. Reckon the two guys who flew past me were regulars though
The cycle to work people have a load of swag to distribute to people who 'pledged' their ride today. The less who bothered, the better the chances of winning. Happy days.
