It's cycle to work day.

As above. It's the day of the year, when people dust off their bikes, and make an effort. How many people have you seen on a bike, that you wouldn't normally see on a bike today?

Just the regular few cycle commuters I see most days.

Not for me it isn't.

It's too bloomin hot to cycle to work this week. Even though it's the first week I've had a cycleable commute for months.

I saw about 10 this morning, I never see any normally at 5:00 am..

I was planning to do this, but the bike ended up in the shop again, 25mile commute with broken brakes seemed like suicide :-(

I saw none- I generally see none and lived up to that expectation- 17 miles in an hour an no-one (apart from my mate who I cycle with but he doesn't count).

About the same as usual, - 3 or 4 as I came through Salford. Rarely see anyone on a bike for the first 40 mins of my journey. Leaving at 5.20 does have its compensations .

I cycled. Saw other cyclists, don't ride enough really to judge whether they sre always on the roads. Reckon the two guys who flew past me were regulars though

I did see one bloke down the Coton cycle path that I've never seen before. A success then!

Working form home today ... doh ! May have to go out for a ride just to mark it.

The cycle to work people have a load of swag to distribute to people who 'pledged' their ride today. The less who bothered, the better the chances of winning. Happy days.
