It was a very hot cycle home from work for me today at 2pm, still better than the bus. I saw 6 other cyclists on the way to work, which is slightly above average, but only a couple on the way home.

Gave up the cycling to work malarkey 2 years ago.
Now I cycle any day I want, at any time I fancy.

Every workday is "cycle to work" for me, sun/ wind/ rain/ included (same as a fair few on here I would guess?).

I saw a couple of newbies at the traffic lights butnassumed it was because I left work slightly earlier..

I normally ride to work on Wednesdays but ironically I needed my car today so for me it was don't cycle to work day.

Glad to see that on National Cycle to Work day the standards of driving around cyclists are as abysmal as normal. Thanks for all the close passes today, especially the Range Rover who passed me on the B197 Digswell Hill at about 6pm this evening, doing 60+ mph a few inches from my right elbow. Utter w****r.

I always have a laugh reading the back of the busses, like "York, Cycling City" just as they've cut you up!; the irony..

I drove in but saw some pretty horrific driving around cyclists.

I had a massive argument with a complete moron behind me, I had a cyclist in front of me who was wobbling loads and constant oncoming traffic and he threw a complete fit as I wouldn't overtake this kid, there was no way enough room.

He started tailgating me so I pulled over for him to pass me but he followed me in and wanted to continue the argument! lol
