Bl00dy wimps, it's only a dusting! I bet they had to close because the majority of their customer base couldn't get their VW T5s into the carpark

Quite a few roads are closed now in Powys. Brigands inn at Malwyd to Welshpool closed in places.

We had three inches of snow a week or so ago, may have some more on Monday. It was -11C here yesterday. All of this is slightly exceptional, a bit early in the season.

Why would you close a mountain bike centre in snow? I'm genuinely surprised as mountain biking in snow is fantastic fun. Even better in snow on a moonlit night.

Joking aside, I do think it is for safety in the carpark. Many people just can't drive in snowy conditions, no matter how slight it is.
