Over the past couple of weeks I've bought:
105 shifters, 2 cassettes, bars, 4 rolls of bar tape, 4 tubes, 6 tyres, a stem, gear inners & outers, brake inners & outers, Chainset, FD & RD, Castelli shorts, 2 chains, a saddle, pedals, 2 bottle cages, a light, a torque wrench, oh and a new bike!
I thought I was pretty well set up with kit and gear but it seems I can't stop looking at the next thing to buy!
Does the spending ever stop?
Mickey tell me about it I am the same.
I have brought recently 10 x 25mm Continental tubes how can you not as they are so cheap brought in bulk.
4 rolls of handle bar tape ( and I bet you brought yours at HOB too ) as its cheaper
10 inner gear cables again cheap in bulk
4 bottle cages ( sorry Chinese but they do the job ) 2 more plastic ones which I saw in Tesco at £2 each
Ultegra 6800 levers, rear mech and brakes for a carbon Trek I am building up. Trouble is its another Compact and I am not sure whether I am going to like it but its a bigger frame than I have been riding and as its going to be 11 speed I will be able to fit a 32 rear sprocket which should get me up the hills.
Quite like the idea of a nice Titanium Audux bike but that would not go down very well with the other half so unlike you no new bike.
Given the CF bike I definitely need to get a Torque Wrench so that's on the cards oh and I still need a Stem, Bars, wheels, Cassette pedals, spacers, seat post so I too am still looking.
And I cant help but laugh when my wife says " I don't know what you do with your allowance from our pension each month "
Grrh.
Got to go as I have got to look at the Van Nicholas site. Yes there will always be something else to buy that's for sure.

I'm always going into Bike Shops, just for a look, but rarely come out without having bought something. Is this something that can be cured on the NHS.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Keith my wife would argue that I have an addiction and I don't think I can argue with that. But I would rather have this addiction than some of the others you can get. The way we are going we might meet in rehab somewhere some day Keith until then enjoy.
