Crackle

..
I've done it again. I knew I'd written on here the last time I did it so was checking the frequency of my invalidity so I don't kid myself I can get over it and just carry on. This time far worse. I think may have to look seriously at changing my stretching routine to sort this long term. I'm pretty sure it's just muscular nothing more serious. I took some codeine last night. I may not have a bowel movement for another three days now! Dog walking duties have been handed over to Mrs C as the dog was looking pretty impatient as he waited for me to hobble to the gate. Curtains were twitching it took so long to lower myself into the car seat whilst gurning and swearing.

You have my sympathies. Mine’s playing up too. So much so my Physio wants me to see a neurosurgeon which I’m doing on Wednesday.

She’s also banned me from Cycling somive not ridden for more than 2 weeks

Luckily, my bowels are still moving despite nightly co codamol. I can recommend Dulcoease to help things when yours do come back to life!

Too much information for me^_^

You need to learn a VERY important lesson here. Only take drugs that allow you to partake of alcohol.

I damaged my back 50 years ago. Take care with it.
A few years ago I went private to a physio who gave me a set of stretches to do........I do them most days, definitely if playing golf.
If you think you have a weakness there dont hesitate.......throw some money at it and go private.

I'm worried because I had disc surgery 25 years ago and the symptoms seem quite similar, although this time it's both legs and I have numb toes on one foot . Hence, the specialist and scan through private insurance

Seriously though.... I really hope things go well for you.
Is this all a result of the 'accident'?

Be sure to keep us up to date on bowel movements. Could become a trending thread, this one

Instead of drinking them, try inserting them!
Funny (to me) story. Some years ago after an op for a double hernia I needed an enema. The nurse said "i'm busy, can you do it yourself"?
I said "NO"!!!!
She said "well I will have to be quick"
I said "well I dont want you to take your time"!!
Job done.
Bearing in mind I could hardly walk she said "I recommend you start walking to the toilet now".
I started hobbling along then felt the enema working.
I made it by seconds
