Jacket recommendations?

Can anyone recommend a light weight jacket that is breathable, really waterproof and fits in a jersey back pocket easily?

I looked at the Altura Pocket Rocket but is there any other that people recommend?

Look at the Montane and Salomon range too. Usually available from Cotswold Outdoor and Blacks.

The really lightweight ones are more for being caught in a shower, get the coat on and find shelter. They're not ideal for torrential down pours. I use a pocket rocket and find that if the rain is heavy and lasts for 10 minutes or more I will still get wet, however I do stay warm and that is more important.

Endura Helium is compromise between things like the Montane ones and full on winter jackets.

They are a slim fit though. I thought mine was a medium (39-41) inches but in fact it is a large. And snug at that.

Another point I will add... water can sometimes get in through the zips and the neck. Some of the better options have zip covers/flaps and draw strings or elasticated neck and wrist areas.
