Just got back.....

.....from 2 weeks touring France following the TdF, including Tourmalet, Izoard, Lautaret, Galibier, Alpes d'Huez, Mont Ventoux, Rizoule and with a great bunch of lads and a smashing lass. They all climbed the above but I only did part of the Galibier and Mont Ventoux as I was the support driver so had to be there for refreshments etc...We finished off in Paris for the last day. We covered about 3000 miles all together but well worth it. Here we are on our first day in Aix les Bains. I am the old one in the middle.

Bristol, Plymouth, Doncaster and me ( the only frenchie)

Yes it was. Loved every minute of it. I also showed them good places to eat at reasonable prices. All of them were fitter cyclists than me but there was a fantastic camaraderie.

You must have had a ball. I bet your are a lot fitter now than when you started!

I think you all probably did a bit more climbing than the riders did on the real TdF this year.
