Our car is Oyster Silver according to Ford. It isn't silver, and neither are oysters. I think it's a better name than Metallic Slacks, although had would be more accurate.

My Renault is apple green, and the French name for the colour is indeed Pomme Vert. In the UK market, however, it's Pistachio. Nobbers.
