That's an unusual one - more common here is the "Tank Commander", that driver who has time enough to clear only an eye level slot across the screen.
10 minutes isn't enough in REALLY cold weather IME.. I'm talking less than about minus 5C, when you need to start the engine, then spray de-icer, scrape the ice off ALL windows, and wait until the engine is warm enough to blow warm air onto the inside of the windscreen. Otherwise the condensation caused by your very presence when you sit in the car will freeze on the inside of the screen. Unless of course you've got a new fankled car with a heated windscreen, which, as the proud owner of a 10 year old Toyota Corolla I don't have10 minutes to clear the windscreen? Did she get a new one fitted instead?
I've never had a problem with breath condensing on the inside of a windscreen before when driving.
Police ScotlandHold on.
Drive with snow on screen, and don't harm anybody, with no visible numberplate. Police managed to trace you and charge you. Ram a cyclist off, injure them, drive off, with clear numberplate. And nothing?
It's Scotland; different laws and different procedures thankfully. No PACE, no Police cautions, no CPS, and none of this ducking out because there is no "independent" witness nonsense (WTF - a witness is a witness up here, unless it's your spouse. Even then they are competent witnesses, the only difference is they cannot be compelled to give evidence against a spouse - whereas other witnesses CAN be compelled).Hold on.
