I have a specialized max at the moment so just aboutI currently use a Specialized, which is perfectly comfortable, but intend to get a Kask helmet before the summer. The rear fixing mechanism on the Kask feels much more secure as you can move it up & down to get it fitted in just the right spot on the back of your head, and the ventilation is much better than my current helmet (only the Echelon). Just trying to decide on either the Mojito or Vertigo!

No necessarily so, if the brand or style doesn't work. More expensive = a smidge lighter and better venting. Not even guaranteed of a better safety standardlol! Not interested in looking like Sir Wiggins. Been on motorbikes all my life and experience has shown me that the more expensive helmets fit better, feel better and the ventswork. I am therefore assuming, possibly wrongly, that the same goes for cycling helmets too. The old saying that you get what you pay for.
