1 Drachm, a teaspoon is a unit of measure and therefore level or full won't make a difference.

Any cook knows, a teaspoon can be level or heaped, which I think is what Ian meant...

Like you I couldn't get used to it either.
I didn't find it terrifying rather then I seemed to find the whole driving thing overrated, tedious and just not for me.
If you got your licence you too could shout out to a cyclist " Get off the road, you don't pay any road tax". Can't tell you how fed up i am of hearing that one. When you catch up with them at the lights, introduce yourself and tell them you have two cars at home so i actually own more of the road than they do, they just look gormless and miss the green light![]()
Out of interest, how much does an hour-long driving lesson cost these days?
