Keeping a Goldfish alive as a secret santa present...

Doing secret santa at college, and I am going to get my name a goldfish....but this provides some issues:

I would have to get the fish the day before, and then store it in a container which may have to last the whole next day with the fish alive. I also want to provide instructions for keeping the fish as a pet as I don't want it to die .

What other problems can people see?

Montage, it occurs to me that you have a choice of what to buy your Name. The Goldfish, would, if he could, choose to be looked after by someone who would like a Goldfish. He or she, is very small but still alive.

Can I suggest that you post on here some more details about the recipient and lots of people could give you some unusual ideas about presents.
