Kenda 26x1.95 semi slick tyres

Bought a couple of these tyres for my Raleigh MTB to remove the tyre noise and hopefully
go faster.
They have arrived and look like worn down Knobbly MTB tyres
They smell like new rubber.
Any opions on these or I have I made a mistake

Kenda are cack IME.

my only experience of kenda was round and black but better out there. If for tarmac use you wont go wrong with Schwalbe city jets, cheap and work very well with good puncture resistance.
