Kent routes

Hi, Im moving back to UK in December and the only thing bothering me is the amount of traffic on the roads, i will be living in Keston Kent, does anybody know of safe routes around that area please? I shall miss cycling here in France but I just cant afford to live here now that family have moved back, its just me and the dogs now!

I'm a bit to the east and my loops take in Eynsford, Shoreham, Pilgrims Way, Meopham. I also used to commute to Whyteleafe. But it's all hilly, living on the North Downs. If you explore, you'll find lots of quiet backroads. Search for Terry's Lodge (nice climb) and Knatts Valley. The latter is in a valley that seems to have been lifted from the middle of Wales, its so unlike the busy roads of SE London.

I've not been there much. The last time I was there was for a site visit near the Hoo Peninsula. I took the bike and explored the sustrans paths in the area. They were rather nice
