Keo pedals - moving up

Been riding using keo look max 2s the last 3 years, picking up a new pair for the impending n+1, was wondering if anyone went from these to the more blade styles, amd what their thoughts were? About 20 quid difference between the max 2 and blade 2 carbon, but they are less than half the weight so considering the change.

Any differences in clipping in and out?

I suspect there will be little discernible difference. The benefits are as you have already identified weight and shape (more aero), so marginal gains rather than a massive difference in functionality. You clip in you unclip, adjust the tension to suit and you are good to go. I have never been able to tell the difference between my various Look pedals.

Cheers, hit the max 2 originally as larger clip in surface looked easier to start with. These days do it without thinking
