Sportive wise i have the Fred Whitton next. That. Will. Hurt!

Good luck, did that a couple of years ago, one of the more 'challenging' days I've had on the bike. The Hardknott being the only hill I've ever had to walk on (on all 3 attempts)

Still, I enjoyed the many sausage rolls, donuts, millionaires shortcake, donuts, sausage rolls, cakes, buns etc!

Thought the feed stations were excellent, not that the food is the main attraction for me in these events, honest.

Some of the results look a little dubious, folk 5mins slower up the climb posting spectacular times

Yeh they always seem to mix up the Red and Black times and fail to rectify. Top 20 riders will all have posted a sub 20 in the climb and top 10 all sub 18.

RE Black route - The rider in 4th position will have won.
