Well, I ran out of 'accumulated sick days' as well, and had to go back on Monday. 2 1/2 weeks altogether but it cost me 3 days precious holiday.

Anyway, it's on the mend although I still haven't ridden my bike since 7 June! Hopefully Monday or Tuesday next week.
If it's an injury sustained at work you can argue that it doesn't count towards your sick leave tally.
I would tend to agree if I worked for any other company...

Right, first ride back to work today and knee felt fine, if a little sore, with a few dull clicks on a sharp hill.

It would be enough to buy a nice new bike, but it has to go in the house deposit fund, unfortunately. Or stamp duty fund, more like.
