Putting this up mainly to warn members from Walsall about this w4nk3r.

GF and i had just finished doing shopping at Asda St Mathews. Riding down Goodall st heading towards Bridge st, passed all the parked cars to the left when twitface in Silver 2015 Mercedes GLA pulled out of Freer St to head up towards the Asda and deliberately hit me. How do i know it was deliberate? he swerved directly into me and even witnesses said they saw him do just that. Young asian guy, around 20 years old, 6ft with very short beard got out and shouted "thats what you f*****g idiots get for riding on the road and ill do it to you lot every time i see you lot. Got back in his car and drove off. Luckily witnesses (one being local traffic warden) got the Reg and incident is on CCTV. Police are going to visit the driver at his address, if he is the registered keeper. It does look like they will be taking this very seriously.

Luckily it was me he hit and not GF. Bike is fine, just mudguard cracked a little. I am fine. GF shook up.

The guy clearly has issues and isnt afraid to hurt cyclists. So if your in/around Walsall just keep your eye out for this prat and be carefull around him.

Car has very dark tinted rear windows. Tinted rear lights. Large Dark grey alloys and what looked to be a little orange jelly hand hanging from the rear view mirror. so he is noticeable and cant be missed.

Provided the witnesses are clear in their statements about what the guy said he could well be sampling prison food pretty soon. Glad you are ok.

Dark tinted windows..... That says it all.
around here it usually means mummy and daddy purchased him said car so he can go about his drug dealing and gangsta wannabe activities which include sitting in McDonalds car parks, racing around tesco car park and trying to pick up 15 year old girls outside franky and bennies.

He should be easy to trace and it sounds well-witnessed.

Saying he did it on purpose and would do it again aggravates the offence.

Dangerous driving does look likely.

Maximum two years, he won't get that, but it could be a short stretch.

The other way to look at it is if he is man of his word, he will do it again and possibly put himself in the frame for a more serious offence.

Hopefully that won't happen and no other cyclist will have to suffer before he's locked up.
