Assault with a deadly weapon does not exist in UK law, although I think some American states have a version of it.
The other difficulty with any form of assault charge is you were not injured.
Common assault might be a goer, but that carries a maximum of only six months.
Assuming dangerous drive is charged - maximum two years - I doubt they will bother with any assault charge because it doesn't add anything.
There might also be a defence argument that common assault is duplicitous, ie, the offending is already covered by the dangerous drive.
The rough idea there being you are only charged once for an offence.
