Would take hell of alot more to put me off of cycling. Unfortunately GF has been shaken badly by it and is reluctant to ride again. will be something we work on over the next few weeks.

I empathize with your GF's fears, it won't be easy for her to regain confidence.

Makes me pissed off just readin that. The driver has basically shot himself in the foot, or at least at his own people via his actions. Such behavior will just encourage even more racism.

OP: Would be interested to hear if a prosecution is made. Post updates here if any.

Perhaps you could encourage Britain First to take up the cause? They do a great line in "Look what that lot are doing now!!"
